It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners.
For the Lord hears the needy and does not despise His people who are in prison.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death.
He has sent me to open eyes that are blind, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.
God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing.
Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
